As this is the only permanently developed camp-site around Pune, which is owned, managed and controlled by the Surya Shibir, throughout the year various camps are conducted.

Also throughout the year the groups keep on visiting the site either for a day out or for a overnight stay. These groups are either families or group of friends or school children and students from different parts of India.

Clean, filtered drinking water available for 24 hours.

The facilities include the transport vehicles to get to the surya shibir surroundings which include buses of different capacities. camp site is equipped with sporting equipments like football, table tennis, chess and carom.
It provides a range of sports and pastimes from slide planes to river crossing and rapling.

 
Well equipped kitchens which provides a tea, breakfast and delicious Vegetarian food only. To provide the timely services, the resident cooks are available at camp site. 
An open  air theatre with backdrop of lake is a part of  our facilities to provide platform to blooming talents.
For accommodation spacious rooms are available for  the visitors staying overnight.
The children's living quarters are provided in three large halls, two of which serves as a boy's dormitory and one as the girls dormitory with attached toilet blocks.
Swimming pool with the backdrop of a beautiful waterfall is maintained for a relaxing dip.
The telescope facilities available for star gazing.
During the camp the experts in their respective fields are invited to guide and educate the participants. 
During the camp a resident Doctor is always present round the clock throughout the camp duration.
Not to forget other important facilities such as quite and peaceful surroundings the pollution free atmosphere, and rare species of birds and plants.
Large collection of Educational and informative books is available covering topics ranging from Science, Nature, Life to light reading.
